Gaiasoft develops large scale change software applications and the underlying platform that supports them. Because each Gaiasoft application draws upon the same core performance, knowledge and collaboration modules -the Gaiasoft platform -all Gaiasoft applications share a suite of common features. These features can be extended and configured, upgraded and integrated to accommodate unique and additional requirements.

Gaiasoft builds software products that enable people to manage change and capture opportunity in rapid, effective and verifiable ways, ensuring the privacy of every user and every transaction that occurs within a Gaiasoft-enabled environment.
Approach. Gaiasoft products combine template-ing with patented privacy and synchronicity-based search. All collaboration and knowledge sharing within a Gaiasoft-enabled environment is as confidential or public as each user and group wishes it to be.

Gaiasoft’s templates focus attention on the leverage points for change, enabling even a small team to focus and achieve quick-wins. The template approach also allows for rapid expansion and inclusion of people and groups to implement tasks in parallel – with the ideas and successes of all participants – all working in alignment towards a common purpose.
All Gaiasoft products scale from team to large, complex projects. Using Gaiasoft products and methodology enables goals and tactics to shift dynamically as current circumstances and available resources change. All products are designed to support multiple stakeholders each with their own perspectives, world-views or mental models and their own needs for information and privacy.
Templates enable alignment and scalability. Gaiasoft uses a template approach that enables scalability and reporting from the individual user to the greater, more overarching perspectives of company, state, national, multi-stakeholder or global interests. Applying a fractal (repeating patterns) approach, Gaiasoft templates capture the core elements of a goal or master plan and break these down into smaller operational templates and projects.
Scorecards provide project tracking and evaluation capabilities. Gaiasoft’s template-based Scorecard enables work progress to be seen ‘at a glance’ and organized according to various evaluation models, or ‘lenses.’ These lenses (such as, perhaps, traditional balanced scorecard) make it possible to see, evaluate and report upon work using quantitative, qualitative and cultural measures. The Scorecard helps take the pulse of an activity or group and also helps report and compare on levels that scale from individual to team and organization-wide perspective.
Knowledge sharing fast-tracks success. Gaiasoft’s DNA Library is a repository of a company’s or an initiative’s measures and related best practices, those most-successful findings that create extra-ordinary results. This special library helps an organization identify and replicate its most successful approaches as it helps others with similar situations quick-start their work with a greater certainty of success.
Collaboration builds community engagement. When using the collaboration capabilities of any Gaiasoft product, users and groups develop individual profiles and establish their security and privacy settings. Other users have access to this information according to 1) the privacy setting established by each user and 2) the match between others’ profiles and the individual’s or group’s profile. Every Gaiasoft exchange is ‘user-permission’ based.
Collaboration capabilities include: profile development (including needs, interests, resources), privacy settings, creating and joining communities, locating and matching people and information.
The Platform’s underlying technology: Gaiasoft products leverage Service Oriented Architecture and can be integrated seamlessly into web sites using ‘Widgets’ and into client applications and backend systems using Service Oriented Architecture.

Product Lines
Gaiasoft offers four “By Gaiasoft” product lines: Green, Resilience, Performance and Innovation. Within each product line are several purpose-specific applications that address individual categories of needs and types of users, helping people and projects find and develop particular content they need. All applications are powered by the Gaiasoft platform which delivers shared capabilities, through web services and common interface elements to each application.
While each application is a separate environment, users can exchange information and collaborate between all application environments as each user wishes. This ability to work and collaborate across interest areas greatly enhances the value of any single application.
GREEN BY GAIASOFT focuses on sustainability. All products in the ‘Green’ family help a group identify, prioritize, organize and implement solutions for climate-positive results.
- Green Cities: for municipal governments, based upon various city sustainability frameworks including the categorizations of the C40 Cities and the program/project/solutions framework of the London Climate Change Agency
- Green Citizens: a companion product to Green Cities, for mobilization of citizen action groups
- Green Data Centers: to plan and track energy reduction through implementation of environmentally-positive actions within data centers
- Green Beaches: addresses marine debris and invasive species scientific research worldwide
RESILIENCE BY GAIASOFT focuses on full-spectrum preparedness, disaster mitigation, planning and recovery. These applications are currently in development.
PERFORMANCE BY GAIASOFT addresses organizational learning, optimization and performance. These applications are developed from decades of experience with some of the world’s largest and most successful organizations and a spectrum of specific projects.
- Learning Government: provides a learning architecture and processes for implementation of programs and achievement of service delivery objectives at national/regional/local/institutional levels. This application aligns and builds on existing service delivery, leadership, capacity building and quality management initiatives to maximize synergy and effectiveness.
- Learning Business: provides a learning architecture and processes for implementation of business strategy, particularly for an organization undergoing large-scale change. This application aligns and builds on existing quality management, business excellence, training, management and leadership development initiatives to maximize synergy and effectiveness.
INNOVATION BY GAIASOFT supports insightful creativity. This family of applications taps the hidden patterns present in imagination and ingenuity of groups working together collaboratively. Not yet available, these applications are intended to address innovation in the arts (music, literature, performing arts, photography), business (design, management, governance), personal motivation (insightful and inspirational life) and wellness.
